Innovative. Open Access. Sustainable.
Rupkatha Books is the scholarly book publishing wing of Aesthetix Media Services (OPC) Private Limited (www.aesthetixms.com), incorporated in India by the Government of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, under the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) and Rule 18 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014. It is an independent academic publishing organisation dedicated to advancing global knowledge through open, ethical, and technology-enabled scholarly communication. Alongside its book publishing programme, Aesthetix Media Services publishes and supports a portfolio of peer-reviewed scholarly journals and institutional initiatives.
Established by Dr Tarun Tapas Mukherjee in 2023 as an extension of the scholarly vision of the Rupkatha Journal on Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities (www.rupkatha.com), Rupkatha Books aims to approach academic publishing through innovation, digital technologies, and unrestricted access to knowledge.
We believe knowledge is a global public good and research should be accessible irrespective of geographical location, institutional affiliation, or financial resources. Our digital-first publishing model overcomes many of the limitations of conventional print publishing, enabling rapid dissemination, enhanced discoverability, worldwide accessibility, long-term preservation, and environmentally responsible production. We seek to integrate contemporary publishing technologies with rigorous editorial practice and expand the reach, visibility, and impact of scholarly work.
