Call for Creative Submission | Writing with the Bots | AI Literature Submission
Using neural networks, the AI literature tools produce human-like pieces of literature that are, in most cases, marked by twisted imitations of the masterpieces both in language and content. The ‘Artificial’ is repetitive and selected from the vast body of literature available on the web or from the classics, a particular language model is fed with. With this caveat, we venture into experimenting with writing with the Bots.
Rupkatha Journal is inviting submissions of AI literature following the instructions below:
- Write short creative pieces (poems, short fiction, dramatic scripts etc) with the help of AI tools like
- ChatGPT (https://chat.openai.com)
- Microsoft Edge (https://www.bing.com)
- Google Verse by Verse (https://sites.research.google/versebyverse, https://ai.google)
- Sonnet Generator (https://www.poem-generator.org.uk/sonnet/)
- Poem of Quotes (https://www.poemofquotes.com/tools/poetry-generator/)
- Song Lyric Generator (https://www.song-lyrics-generator.org.uk/country)
- Ai Poem Generator (https://poemgenerator.io)
- Any other AI tools
- Use innovative use of prompts or instructions with the tools to generate your creative pieces. Example: Use the basic prompt <Write a poem on “on the grim seashore i saw her face painted in the sky”. The prompts can be made creatively complex to generate more complex pieces. After a piece is generated, it needs to be modified substantially to the degree that it is made truly ‘creative’ as opposed to the ‘Artificial’, that may be repetitive and copied in nature. Again, inversely, a human poem may be given to a Bot to modify. Example: < Rewrite the poem: “your entire poem”>.
- Authors need to include the name and principal URL of the AI model as author/co-author
- Send 5 short poems or 1 short fiction/dramatic piece to submission@rupkatha.com with “Submission of AI Literature” in the email subject.
- Formatting: Use Letter size, 1.5 line spacing, Gadugi font.
- There is no fee for submission/publication.
- Submission Deadline: November 30, 2023.
